Meet Lesego Mabe

What inspires you?:
Its often said the graveyard is the richest place on earth, because that’s where all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled lie. All because they were afraid to take that first step or persevere through adversity. So, I make sure to live life to the fullest and with purpose.

What’s the most interesting thing/book you’ve seen or read in 2022?:
I find human interactions fascinating from reading one’s body language to seeing how the actions of an individual can affect those closest to him/her. I can attest to that by my higher positive aura to start the year.

Where’s your favourite holiday destination?:
My favourite holiday destination is a place I have never been but with my imagination it frequently plays in my mind. A tropical location on an isolated island with warm weather in the day and a cool breeze in the evening. Spent with people that have had a positive impact in my life, basically a utopian atmosphere.

What’s your favourite thing to do during the weekends?:
Apart from spending time with family and attending to hobbies, I spend some alone time to reflect on life and plan ahead in a tranquil environment.

What food have you never eaten but would really like to try?:
My palette is not very adventurous, but I would like to explore more exotic seafood.

If Leoka gave you a surprise three day paid break to rest and recuperate, what would you do with those three days?:
I would spend most of it on eat, sleep, train and repeat.

If someone narrated your life, who would you want to be the narrator?:
Morgan Freeman, his ability to convey a message through his timbre voice is unmatched.

What animal would you consider your spirit animal?:
The lion exudes a fearless confidence, it represents courage and strength in overcoming difficulties.

Do you have any hidden talents?:
I keep discovering more about myself so you could say constantly learning is a hidden talent.

What made you decide to join the Leoka team?:
I had occasionally spoken to the Managing Director and heard of his passionate vision for the company and the potential it has. Once you hear the story you have no choice but to buy in by not only being a part of the journey in realising someone’s dream but leaving a legacy.
