Meet the team
Katlego Makgata
Managing Director

Katlego is a registered ECSA Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional with over 16 years of experience, particularly in project engineering and management within the nuclear and mining industries. He has been extensively involved in the execution of mega projects in the platinum and iron ore sectors. An entrepreneur with a drive to change perceptions and identifying unexplored synergies between industries and businesses.

Sholo Noko
Manager: Engineering

Sholo is an experienced Mechanical Lead Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the mining, metals and power industries. He is skilled in EPCM/EPC and Engineering Management and has full project life-cycle experience. A strong professional with a BSc Eng in Mechanical Engineering from University of the Witwatersrand, Sholo is key to overall engineering deliverables and mentoring of young talent.

Motlatsi Makgata
Manager: Corporate Affairs

Motlatsi is responsible for the corporate affairs and marketing at Leoka. Working hand-in-hand with the business development team, they device marketing strategies that are aligned to the end goal of the company and are revised on an ongoing basis to adapt to the changing landscape. Her role includes setting and maintaining the ethical and integrity ethos for the company. She is passionate about Corporate Social Investment and is also responsible for the implementation of Leoka’s CSI strategy in line with the company’s overall business strategy.
