How do you think private companies can support the youth in Mzansi with their entrepreneurial journeys?
They can empower the youth by organising and hosting entrepreneurial workshops (Business Indaba). A lot of young people have business ideas, but they struggle to execute them, because they lack the knowledge and skills required to start a business, grow it, and sustain it.
What advice would you give to your peers who are trying to climb the corporate ladder to pursue their dreams?
To my fellow peers – one should dedicate their lives to pursuing their dreams despite the challenges they come across and to be open minded and flexible to most opportunities that come their way. The only way to excel as the youth is to chase our dreams and to do what we love, and excel in our field of work . I live by this quote “Follow excellence and success will chase you”.
If you could set one rule for young people in Mzansi, what would it be?
One rule for young people: – It is mandatory to contribute to the growth of our economy, therefore youth should find ways for themselves to be successful. It is all within you, you hold the key to your own future.
